SLES or Sodium Laureth Sulfate, is an organic chemical compound, called a surfactant, with excellent cleansing and foaming properties. For this reason, it is an ingredient of various detergents, household products, soaps, and shampoos.
SLES is usually supplied to the producers of the above liquids at a concentration of 70% and due to its physical properties, this concentrated solution is difficult to handle and must be diluted below 27% before using it in the process line. Buying SLES at a 27% concentration can be a huge financial investment for companies, however, with Tapflo’s SLES Mixing and Dilution Unit customers can purchase SLES at 70% concentration and dilute it themselves. Our system allows continuous dilution with maximum efficiency and safety, reducing the cost to the company in the long run.

Transferring a specified volume of liquid with an AODD pump is now very easy and precise.
Electronic Batch Controller is an automation unit designed to perform a batching process. Working together with Tapflo diaphragm pumps, it allows transferring almost every liquid. By counting and summarizing strokes of a pump, we reach the precision of 60 ml per batch (by using TR 20 pump size).
With every stroke of a pump, there is a signal sent from the inductive sensor (-5 C or -5 CF option in pump configuration). Each signal is received and summarized by the controller. The volume of liquid pumped per stroke is preset.
Operation starts by setting the batch volume and pushing the START button. The pump will operate until reaching the desired volume of the pumped liquid. At that moment controller will stop the pump air supply by switching off the solenoid valve.
The next batch is simply started by pushing the START button again. The pump can also be switched into Manual Mode where the START button is pressed to keep the pump in operation.
The PT series is designed to make hose changes quick and easy with no technical knowledge required. We only work with high quality compounded rubbers, reinforced with 2 to 6 individual layers of braided polyamide and with an outer layer made to strict tolerances to ensure perfect compression. The characteristics of Tapflo hoses enable them to last approximately 30% longer than other hoses on the market. They also fit the majority of other hose pumps.
For the hose inner layers, 6 materials are available to suit the diversity of the pumped fluids.

The PTL P peristaltic plastic pump is designed to withstand the most aggressive chemical media to ensure safety and protection.
Housing of our PTL P series pumps are made from antistatic polyethylene (PE HD) which has a superior wear resistance. The pump housing is fully sealed, so the liquid remains inside to avoid any contamination of the floor. The rotor and the roller holders are nickel plated to reduce the downtime and maintenance.
* At a room temperature of 20°C. Furthermore, it depends on the pumped fluid, on the hose quality and on the motor construction.
** It depends on the pump dimension and on the hose quality.
*** It depends on the pump dimension/execution, on the speed and on the tube material.
